The Phoebe House is residential, drug and alcohol rehabilitation program was founded in 1984 by a group of passionate young women concerned that the treatment needs of mothers experiencing substance use issues were not being met.

The program is holistic, evidence- and outcomes-based and is tailored to each resident and their children’s individual care needs. It caters for a range of women and children from different cultures, backgrounds and across Australia.

The staff at Phoebe House dedicate their professional skills and knowledge to support residents to achieve their goals. This is accomplished in collaboration with the residents themselves, their children, their families and our external agencies.

The program is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and their children at all times. We aim to keep families together and to assist residents to build and maintain bonds with their children.
